We seamlessly connect Users with unique Experiences through our platform and make cities more accessible, opening up more possibilities for our users and more business for creators.

HOW IT ALL STARTED

While planning his first date with his then fiancรฉe in 2017, GoLivMoโ€™s founder Kevin Ou sought to do something fun and unique. After an hour of Googling for what to do in Singapore that night, he was still Googling and searching frantically. That hour didnโ€™t lead to an outcome, and he thought, โ€œThis is broken, how can we fix that?โ€

After speaking with several friends and extensive surveys, he found out that many other people had similar issues.

This inspired him to create a curated activities platform providing personalised in-city recommendations for a time-strapped society.

The idea? Make it easier for people to find and do more things that matter to them.

GoLivMo was created as an alternative to the many indistinguishable discount and deals sites. By listening to our users and community, we develop new and exciting experiences that they want. The things that matter to them.

CURATING EXPERIENCES

By circumventing traditional channels, co-developing new experiences with Creators, and engaging with customers directly, we are able to provide exciting and novel experiences within each city at attractive prices.

While there are mobile apps to instantly book restaurants, doctors, and taxis on-demand, there isnโ€™t anything like that for in-city activities. Itโ€™s either listing sites, email blasts, online magazines, social media or ticketing sites, the options are very fragmented, time consuming and content is duplicated.

Theyโ€™re not catered for discovery. You go to Eventbrite or Ticketmaster when you already know exactly what you want to buy.

For activity-seekers, GoLivMo serves up a personalized list of activities depending on their interaction with the platform.

ONE TREE PLANTED IS A 501C3 NON-PROFIT WITH A FOCUS ON GLOBAL REFORESTATION.

Started in 2014, they have more than doubled the number of trees planted year over year. Fast-forward to today, they now work with awesome reforestations partners in North America, South America, Asia, and Africa who help them get trees in the ground to restore forests after fires and floods, create jobs, build communities, and protect habitat for biodiversity.

In 2019 alone, they were able able to plant 4 Million Trees.

WHY TREES?

As trees grow, they absorb and store the carbon dioxide emissions that are driving global heating.ย  In cities, trees can reduce ambient temperatures by up to 8ยฐ Celsius. With more than 50% of the worldโ€™s population living in cities โ€” a number expected to increase to 66% by the year 2050 โ€” pollution and overheating are becoming a real threat.ย 

New research estimates that a worldwide planting programme could remove two-thirds of all the emissions from human activities that remain in the atmosphere today, a figure the scientists describe as โ€œmind-blowingโ€.
