CANYONING IS AN EXTREME SPORT

that may include walking, scrambling, climbing, jumping, abseiling, and swimming.

A PHYSICALLY MAGNIFICENT CANYON CARVED DEEP INTO MOTHER EARTH

At times you can’t see the sky, at others you’re a fly on the wall. The jumps need commitment. You’ll get hammered in waterfalls. You’ll be blown away – no doubt! Challenge yourself in ways you’ve never imagined. Plunge down water polished chutes and abseil down waterfalls. Jump off cliffs! Climb, swim and float through an amazing world of water- sculpted rock, deep clear pools and spectacular waterfalls.

  • These professionals specialize in hands-on trips with a high level of personal satisfaction and our focus is strongly on good humour!

FAQs

What to bring?
A swim suit and towel.
Can I wear spectacles?
Yes but you need wipers. Contact lenses are fine.
Do I need to be able to swim?
We have had a number of non-swimmers and they’ve had a great time. However, we do not recommend high flow trips to non-swimmers and some trips are more suitable than others.
I’m a vegetarian?
The lunches contain no animals.
Am I too young?
We have taken children as young as 11 years on these trips dependent on conditions, the child’s experience and support. We suggest Dec – Feb as these are the warmer months.
What footwear?
We supply all footwear.
Can I bring a GoPro/Other Camera?
You are welcome to bring your own camera (at your own risk), it will need to be waterproof and it should have an attachment. We have helmets with the GoPro mount that you are more than welcome to use. Make sure that you bring additional attachments just in case the helmet is not a good fit for your head. Also, be sure to be familiar with your camera – the canyon is not a suitable environment to learn how to use your device.
